MONTREAL – Police are investigating after a 21-year-old man was stabbed Sunday morning at around 10:50.
Officers responding to an emergency call found the young man at the intersection of 49th Street and 25th Avenue, in Saint-Michel.
The victim had stab wounds to his upper body.

When police arrived at the scene the victim was conscious but refused to cooperate with police.
His condition quickly deteriorated and he was taken to hospital in critical condition.
Andre Leclerc with Montreal Police confirmed that the man underwent surgery and was now in stable condition.
A security perimeter was established around the crime scene as investigators searched for clues.
So far, police have no suspects and no witnesses.
