Minister of Employment, Workforce Development and Disability Inclusion Carla Qualtrough on Friday expanded on the federal government's plan to transition Canadians who are on the Canada Emergency Benefit Response (CERB) program and place them on Employment Insurance instead, saying that CERB had "served its purpose."
