Nova Scotia Premier Tim Houston spoke Friday ahead of the planned date of March 21 to lift most COVID-19 restrictions, saying while most will still be lifted, mandatory masking in schools will remain in place in congregate settings like schools, hospitals, long-term care and jails until mid-April. He said while masking will lift in all other places, it is still "strongly recommended" to mask in other places.
