SASKATOON – Police are investigating an assault that took place at the Saskatoon Ex earlier this week. It happened Tuesday evening on the first night of the annual event.
According to police, a man was standing in line for a carnival ride when he was assaulted by a man wielding a billiard ball attached to a chain.

The 33-year-old man was taken to hospital for treatment of non-life threatening injuries.

The suspect is aboriginal, around five-foot nine, 140-150 pounds with dark short hair and a tear drop-shaped tattoo under his left eye. He was wearing a two-tone brown camouflage jacket and jeans.
