UPDATE: The weather advisory was lifted shortly after 1 p.m. Monday.
Snow began falling in the London, Ont., region on Sunday and is expected to intensify on Monday with the potential for squalls in the forecast.
A snow squall watch issued Monday morning for London, Parkhill and Eastern Middlesex County has been lifted but Environment Canada replaced the watch with a weather advisory that said squalls are still possible.
However, while the national weather agency initially said up to 15 centimetres of snowfall was possible in the heaviest squalls, that figure has since been reduced to 10 centimetres.

According to the advisory, snow squalls will move through the region over the course of a few hours Monday afternoon.

The weather agency warns that in addition to sudden changes in visibility, the snowfall could make roadways, sidewalks, parking lots and other surfaces “difficult to navigate.”
London is expected to see a high of 2 C on Monday with an overnight low of -4 C before the temperature climbs throughout the day Tuesday, reaching 13 C on Wednesday, according to Environment Canada.
